Prayer times & qibla

Prayer times are the one thing an Islamic app must never get wrong, and the one thing it must never need a signal for. The app computes them on-device from your location, using the calculation method you select, and shows you which method it used.

  • 5 calculation methods
  • On-device no network required

What's inside

  • Computed on your device

No request leaves your phone to work out when Maghrib is. Five calculation methods, Shafi'i and Hanafi 'Asr, device location with reverse geocoding for the place name.

  • The whole day, not just the next prayer

A monthly timetable, sunrise and the forbidden times, midnight and the last third of the night, and Ishraq — the times people actually plan around.

  • Adhan and reminders

An adhan library, notifications you control per prayer, and a prayer record with a qada' counter for what you are making up.

  • Two qibla compasses

A guided dial for when you just need the direction, and a classic compass rose. Neither is mirrored in right-to-left layouts, because a direction is a direction.

This is one page of it.

The app carries the full collections, offline, with recitation and search.

Website under development

My Deen Guide's website is still being built. Some features may be incomplete, and a few pages are still waiting on scholarly and legal review. Thank you for your patience.
